Adingra on loan to Monaco confirmed

I dont think we have seen the best of him, but I'm not his biggest fan. If we can get a few mill more than what we paid, I'd consider it good business. Hes not currently worth what we paid for him imo.

You know it 😜
I mean you say he's not worth what we paid for him but talk about selling him for more than we paid? Doesn't make sense, he's struggled to get in the team and to live up to expectations. If we are to bin him off after 6 months, we'd almost certainly have to take a decent loss.

He's a better player than Mundle.

That’s a pretty low bar. No one is going to give us £20m for Mundle.
I get why the defensive side is so important, but if your wingers can’t beat a man and put a good shot/cross in, you might as well have double banked fullbacks (which we have at times this season).

Its only my opinion that he isnt worth 20 mill. He's got admirers, so they probably realise he is going to be that price or more. January transfer window mate, silly season for transfer fees.

I think we could afford to let both Adingra and Mundle go, neither have what it takes at this level, and Adingra isn't suited to our current style of play in that he isn't keen on doing the dirty defensive work.

Would leave us with Le Fee and Talbi for the left wing spot.

I actually think it'd be a real shame to let him go. He'd need to be replaced and I just don't see that happening this close to the deadline, we're light on the wings as it is especially if we're going to be seeing Le Fee in CM more

I think there’s a player in Adingra, agree with Mundle but wouldn’t let either go without replacing. We will pick up injuries and can’t leave ourselves light.

We really need to stop that as well. Fair enough away at a top 6 side, be tight and try to nick away points - that's great.

But if we don't play with 2 attacking wingers tonight at home against Burnley, then I worry that Le Bris doesn't rate what we have available.
Nowt against Hume btw, he's just not a winger!

I disagree that it would leave us light, we'd be unlucky to lose both Le Fee and Talbi to injury in the remainder of the season.

If Adingra was playing for a team who played a high press he might have a chance, we don't play that way and will just have to hold our hands up and say it was a mistake bringing him here.

Only if he can be replaced. Which is a tough ask with 7 hours to go
Unless he has a big upturn I suspect he won't be here next season, a couple of journalist from Morocco? at the weekend were going on about needing to move to a league that requires less defensive responsibilities if he is to make the world cup.

Do we really need to replace him, in reality he has done very little and suspect he wants a move for WC purposes and more game time. Happy if we come out even on the deal tbh.
