I always thought he looked a player.
I’m always reluctant to write people off who just appear in a game here, a game there 20 minutes here and there even if they don’t look that impressive,but he’s obviously got abilities.
A run in a side of say 7 or 8 games can make all the difference picking up a rhythm and confidence and you can see a much better player as a consequence.
 
I watched a fair few Aberdeen games this season and he’s done okay. Nobody is on his wave length and Nisbet does absolutely nothing up front in terms of movement, the laziest player you’ll ever see.
 
A player like him should be allowing them to play better quality football and make a difference. If they're playing a direct style then he's rendered useless.
 
He is by no means a world beater but he certainly isnt poor by Scottish League standards, probably more to do with the pub league level players around him

Won't say he doesn't hold some blame tbf. I noticed here he seems to be a player that needs a lot of motivation to get the best out of. Just before he left for Pompey when he had a run in the team he seemed to be putting 110% into his effort to try and nail a spot down. If he did this every game he would be a lot better for it as the ability is in there.
