Sandler's earnings are most likely through his royalties and production companies etc. He's pretty much a Box Office disaster nowadays, and to a certain extent always was. I like some of his films like but there's some colossal shite in there aswell.

He's got a multi movie deal with Netflix. Don't even think his films come out at the cinema anymore.

That film had a budget of $79m dollars, has to be a scam somehow, it was f***ing shite. Bearing in mind Jurassic Park cost less to make. Or more recently, Deadpool cost less, with much better production value.
