Assuming he wasn’t old and knackered anyway, would that apply to Rolf Harris?

His trade was a TV personality. Shouldn’t he theoretically be able to resume his career if he was released and still able?

Theoretically yes I guess......but Harris in my view is damaged beyond repair.....I do think someone will take Johnson on

For what it’s worth if Colback came back it wouldn’t bother me. Shouldn’t of said what he did but hardly a hanging offense. He won’t be back to Sunderland anyway possibly China but all I’m saying others done worse done the time and continued their careers.

of course he is. within the parameters of the law he can do what he wants. however, any club would be mental to sign him on, and his life wouldnt be worth living, every single match. home fans and away fans would torture him for the rest of time

I do not think it would be tenable to sign him again because of the circumstances of his departure and the fact that he was dismissed from the club. I think he should be allowed to play somewhere, but the reality is that no club is going to have fans that will tolerate having him on their books. Personally I think that once he has served his sentence he should be permitted to work in his trade.

Pedophilia or paedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children

this isnt what AJ is guilt of. like it or not. still as sick fuck as he knew she was 15

Yes I definitely do. All I’m saying others done worse and done time and back playing. Once he served his time he’s payed the price. For what it’s worth I wouldn’t want him back at Sunderland and don’t think he will be either

Who cares man. Who cares what the medical dictionary of sexual disorders classes grooming and interfering with a 15 yr old as?

What I really objected to was him saying Johnson would be welcomed in other countries where laws against child sex aren't as stringent.

You can't post that man.

It's like saying Gary Glitter was alright really because some of his activity took place in Thailand where the laws are less severe
