Some of these journalists are wankers, not just at the tabloids.

They spout all this shite about Sunderland, wanting us to comment etc, but they aren't remotely interested about the victim, they are keepign this story on the front and backpages every day, how is that helping the poor lass.

They don't care about Sunderland's supposed moral duty or anything, they just want to sell newspapers

It's an acronym arising from Prison culture where certain inmates are labelled as "not on normal courtyard exercise"- in other words, the sex offenders who would be at considerable risk if they integrated with the prison population. Of course, the acronym has gained a culture of its own as an insult for sex offenders.

That is why I think it is a "loaded" question.

In the meeting he was not admitting his guilt, I agree that this could well be because at the time of the correspondence he did not realise in his mind that what he was doing was "grooming" (although I am sure there must have been a nagging doubt, that what he was doing was not proper).

Byrne might have realised during the meeting that it could well be viewed as grooming, but that is for the courts to decide, she was not expected to act as judge and jury (and I am not a MB fan).
 
It's not right to label him a peado IMO. She was 15, not 11. What he has done illegal and he's a twat for the whole saga but it's too strong a word to use if you ask me.

I would put my mortgage on a fair few of rival fans that sing peado chants have had sex with a 15 year old themselves when they were 16-17.

As he got off the train and walked up the platform I was leaning out and shouting, in my best Father Ted voice,

"Sure are we all paedophiles now Father?"

I gave it a full rant and kept if up 'til he vanished, I'm still chuckling now ......

As I posted on Thursday, personally I would have locked the Johnson threads for 48hrs, until those shithawks have moved onto another story.

The fallout from the Johnson case is a matter between the club and the fans. The rest of the country doesn't care, so it shouldn't be played out in the press

The answers to those questions can only be given by Adam Johnson. It's not the club's fault that he did what he did.

The man who wrote the letter is nothing more than an attention seeker. Amazing that the Echo think it's a good letter and to put it front page defies belief.
 
Well done to the Sunderland Echo, tremendous stuff over last few days, hopefully they don't let this drop until our wonderful leader Ms Byrne is sacked.

Really.

Top flight footballer is convicted of gromming and sexual activity with a child and you think the rest of the country doesn't care. And while the sun as most tabloids are utter shit. Like it or not it is news and will of course be played out within the press
