Adam Johnson Trial Verdict

why the fuck is the club, seeing evidence in a police case of a footballer? IF true, the police showed a football club evidence of an investigation that may or may not have contributed their employee, a FOOTBALLER. If it was teacher, nurse, doctor etc, yeah, ok, show the employer. But showing a football club evidence sounds dodgy to me.

There has never been any suggestion that the officer was at a meeting with them, I'd be worried if he had been at a meeting with an accused and his barrister. But he was the officer that went to the training ground the day of his arrest and spoke to Margaret Byrne, by his own admission he was.
And I have never suggested he was speaking to that, he was speaking to the question put to him as to whether on the day he went to the ground were the club made aware of the details of the arrest. He said no.

OK, so assuming his evidence wasn't damning to the club (for the sake of argument), why have the club not refuted the statement in court that they were provided with the interview transcript (in which he admitted to kissing her) and the whatsapp messages? What possible reason would there be for the club not to address these - the most important points to be answered - in the statement? It's unfortunately becoming quite clear what's happened here. 99% of people can see it.

The police have just said that the club were told the full extent of the allegations and people are reading too much into it.
Don't you think everyone is reading too much into everything? - if there's have as much passion at St Mary's on Saturday as there is on here it will be electric.

I'm assuming all the main protagonists will be there;)

Not at all, I just thought it was cowardly.

It would be cowardly if I somehow was hiding it from you, it's pretty clear when you're reading the thread you'd see it, whether I said 'oi, reiver' or not. What did you say to the fans at Hull?

This is nuts. There is huge amounts of conspiracy theory level speculation going on here about stuff that none of us know the facts about. I'm amazed people can be so sure about this, either way, based on third hand accounts via a scandal fuelled media that is spectacularly unreliable.

Beyond lambasting Johnson for his irresponsible and criminal behaviour, commenting on anything else about this matter looks a bit silly. Arse. i've commented about it.

1) AJ showed the evidence 2) the allegation is he touched her up having met her at the club. That's a safeguarding issue for a club where there are children around on a daily basis.

It's the Perfect Storm, if they remade that film and instead of salt water, the Atlantic Ocean was full from Casablanca to Myrtle Beach with diarrhoea donated by Mike Ashley, Freddie Shepherd and Malcolm Mcdonald
There is little evidence jenas can form a sentence yet

Only if I was reading every thread which I'm not ....... so, what were the people at Hull saying, I didn't see that post.

But, I'll quite happily answer it.
