Well now would be a good time to do it. The club had the whatsapp messages and a transcript of the interview in which he admitted to meeting and kissing her. I find it hard to believe that there are still people who think the QC would lie about that, and risk his career for no apparent reason. That's what matters here. Let's also not forget that statement was in the papers over a week ago, If the club could refute that statement, they would surely have done so by now. There is no sensible reason for them not to.

What evidence to the contrary? Are you seriously suggesting that the QC knowingly lied in court, for no apparent reason? If so, why have the club not addressed that (the most important issue) in their statement?

I'm just talking about sentencing guidelines. Under 13 has lengthier sentences.

The statement of the lead detective today that she told the club that he had messaged the girl, had met her and sexual activity had taken place. The statement in court of the QC, who said unequivocally that the club had been provided with copies of the interview transcript, and all 836 whatsapp messages between Johnson and the girl. These are damning statements - which again begs the question - why, if they are able to refute these statements has the club not done so?

So he admitted to the police that he kissed the girl, then pleaded not guilty to kissing the girl?

I thought you'd read my posts.

He doesn't have to lie to misrepresent what actually happened.

He had a reason (there would be no point him mentioning it at all if he didn't) - To try and show Johnson was not afraid of losing his job and wages and that wasn't the reason he continued to lie.

So why did you think a jury decided 10-2 to say she was telling the truth if there was no evidence. I take it you must have been sat in the public gallery during the whole trial right? ?
