Some of it are allegations that could be taken lightly... eg. what AJ said... the QC corroborating it should have alarm bells ringing... the statement from the police is pretty damning... all three together surely count as evidence, and they certainly count as a lot more evidence than anything SAFC has offered to refute them.

Only another witness can corroborate it ........ not the client's own counsel.

If it was, then it begs the question why the statement released yesterday made such a massive pig's arse of stating that and left the club wide open to get kicked all over the gaff by every news and media organisation on the planet today.

Johnson alledges the club were aware of the reality.

On the national BBC news yesterday that statement was made but without the word alledge, therefore implying it as fact. Furthermore the news item was shot from inside the stadium of light. All a bit strange

Nobody on this board was privvy to the conversarions between the club and Johnson's representatives and nobody knows exactly what information was disclosed.

We do know Johnson lied to the police in his statements as he admitted that in court. Therefore his statements weren't even a true reflection of his version of the events.

The client's counsel can corroborate he was at a meeting. If the counsel says 'I was at this meeting with Mr X, Y and Z' that's a lot different to a defendant saying in court 'I was in a meeting and Mr Pink was there too'. The counsel wouldn't say it if it wasn't true, a defendant might. Defendant's will make up shit because they're trying to save their career. A QC would lose his career if he lied. Massive incentive for AJ to lie, none for the QC.

Club owners, directors and staff are in place to safe guard the current and future standing of our football club as the club is the heartbeat of the community and is held in high esteem by supporters and the wider community. Anyone failing that duty isn't doing their job to the best of their ability and therefore should be replaced....If MB knew AJ kissed that girl she should do the right thing and resign..if she doesn't walk she should be replaced..

I'm not talking about a legal sense, because we're not talking about the trial/ whether what the QC said is admissible as finding him guilty/ not. We're talking about whether in a practical sense of whether it supports or undermines what AJ said whether what the QC says supports it... and in that sense, the sense we're talking about, it clearly corroborate's what AJ said...
