It depends, I was once sitting outside a Court waiting to go in, the opposition barrister had left a file and a Court Starement on the bench, a colleague picked it up and read it, as I was her manager and hadn't realised what she'd done, so hadn't stopped her we both came very close to being sacked because the court statement hadn't yet been submitted as evidence. The opposing barristers and solicitors kicked up a right stink.So that is not gross incompetence? You have to concede that?
It's honestly a minefield, reading court documentation, the legal system is a minefield.
I know you think I'm just defending the club blindly but a lot of what I'm saying comes from personal experience of the judiciary, and the systems and rules around it.
