Funny how attitudes have changed in a few years. Graham Rix a Chelsea coach was convicted of having full on sex with a 15 year old, got sentenced to 12 months, served 6, and walked straight back into his old job. (was in his 40s at the time), continued as a coach and later as a manager, and is still working in the game. In theory anybody could "have a liking" to somebody underage, not everybody matures at the same rate. The stupidity, or maybe arrogance, lies in the fact that he found out her age and didn't let it stop him.
