Silverwood has been sacked hasn't he? They're just waiting till the end of the series to announce it. Surely he would simply communicate with his assistants using Zoom if he hadn't? The whole skipping the WI T20 series thing set my alarm bells ringing, now this.

Adam Hollioake will not be joining the England set-up for the Sydney Test. A close contact of Hollioake tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours ruling him out of joining up with the England party. #ItsNotGoingGreat.Watch him test positive
Whilst I’m not saying you’re wrong about the Silverwood sacking*, the Sydney Test is scheduled to finish on 18 January, the first game in the WIndies is on 22 January.
Irrespective of his job status, it’s ridiculous to expect him to be there for that.
