Abdullah Ba

Has shown occasional glimpses to suggest that he could be a decent player in time but he's nowhere near good enough yet to be a regular feature if we have any realistic aspirations of pushing the top 6.

If we hadn't made such a pigs ear of the recruitment in the last 6-12 months, a loan move would be the best solution for him.

I realise I'm probably supposed to just pile on with us abuse, but decision making comes with a run of games (bar some exceptions), look at Diallo when he first entered the team.

Lad has loads of ability but consistently his final ball or decision making is non league standard. Is he going to make it?

Does he have loads of ability? He’s not bad but if he wants to play on the right I certainly won’t be playing him ahead of Roberts who is simply miles and miles better than anyone else in the team

Was absolutely pathetic on Tuesday against Crewe and absolutely wasteful today in a number of areas. Needs to improve big time for his own and the sides sake cos he’s unfortunately one of only attacking options. Which says a lot

I’ve never been able to get my head around him. He does something decent and you think he has some ability then moments later he just has a complete head fart and either totally miscontrols the ball or runs it out or something. It’s always been like that.

Ba, Pattison, Neil, Rigg, Johnson, Triantis, Ballard, Hume, Ekwah, Hemir, Bennette, and Cirkin have all at times, or will in the future all have pelters at some point.

What they have in talent they lose in experience. They have to be able to make mistakes and learn from them. Unfortunately too many of them at once means that you are relying on people just to be brilliant from day one. And you don't get that when paying the sums we do.

I think every one of them has the capacity to have a decent career. But push them too hard and it won't be with us.
