Think we’ll move on from him.

He’s done well, puts a shift in, but he’s scored once. If your starting wide forward has scored once in half a season, European ambitions seem a little OTT.

His goal record over his career is canny for a wide player.

I think we may well extend his contract, buys time for us to bed Talbi (who I've read can play on the right )and the new lad in and/or look for the right starter.

Nah.

We’ll be in for a splash signing in this position. But not now, in the summer. The question then is whether we retain Traore as a squad player. Given the desire to give minutes to the other, younger wingers, I’d guess not, but idk.

I’d say that and striker will be the targets. Perhaps a young defensive central midfielder who ticks a homegrown box. We need the ability to give Xhaka or Sadiki more rest than we do. I could see that one, of all target positions, happening this window.

I’d say Talbi will be in the first XI next year, but on the left. He looks a lot more comfortable there.

We are through half a season, and he’s scored once. Don’t be a pedant. And if you want to be one, be a better one and read what I said. I didn’t say he played all the games.

'has scored once in half a season' so by your logic if he'd played once you'd still reference being half way through a season, despite it being irrelevant.
