The thing is they're probably due to get it wrong. The buying, selling, replacing is not 100% fail-safe for any club and i have to admit the Bournemouths, Brighton's and Brentfords have done well but as I said.. what's the odds of getting it right all the time, every time.
Take Semenyo out of Bournemouth and they could be like West ham without Bowen... oh, hold on West Ham have Bowen 😄. Imagine where they'd be without him, he's their motm nearly every week.

They've definitely had a down year on recruitment like. All 3 of the above were heavily linked to us too.

They also signed Doak for 20 odd million who has spent the vast majority of the season injured and Milosavljevic for 15 million who can't get into their team.

As good as our recruitment has been in the last window we have missed out on 3/4 players who were first choice who have all been really really poor. Got lucky in thay respect

Yeah fair point some of them are young and could come good. I think we dodged a massive bullet with Petrovic. They want to replace him already!

So are you saying the ones we knew were good, we got and the ones we were linked, to who turned out to be shyte we didnt get because we were never after them coz we knew they were shyte??... that's is great work by our recruitment team. ;)

I had a dream the other night where I recommended signing Bowen to KLD. I’ve been obsessed with Sunderland for years but this is a worrying new level.

And i think telling Lauriente's agent to do one also set the bench mark too
 
In the wake of Traores injury

From what ive seen, this lad is mustard - 21 yr old (yes in the championship) but theres deffo some talent there...and goals

Is he on our list?
 
Every time I see this thread bumped I hope it's for news that we've made a bid. The lad looks class. Going to cost at least £30m though I reckon, which makes it a lot less likely.
