england won the toss and elected to bat in 39 deg C heat....

currently chugging along at 230/3 off 38 overs. could this be the day we finally crack the 300 against the aussies in a one day game....?

Has there ever been a more pointless series than this? Seven one dayers spread over three weeks, then six days off before preparing for the World Cup. Madness.

Look clueless at One Day cricket again :neutral:

We do but just about our entire first choice bowling attack is out injured. We would look much better with Broad, Swann and Bresnan in the side.

I just hope we don't go into the World Cup expecting 10 overs a game from Trott, Pietersen and to a lesser extent Collingwood.

Thats the worry, like elder said above this series was a poor move by the ACB / ECB. The lads should have been given some time off after the ashes.

Hang about two of the four man attack who won the 2nd test were playing...
Finn and Jimmy

Jimmy gone for 100 off 10 :eek::lol:

Finn has played 2 ODI's man and won't be near the starting XI for the World Cup :lol:

91 off 10 aswell ;)

7 game series are always pointless anyway, can end up with 3 dead rubber games that no one wants to watch or play in.

Very strange scheduling as you say.
