Seem to remember reading in the music press that when he turned 40 he trashed a hotel room or something as he couldn't handle reaching that age ( was on tour i think). I could be way off the mark here, but I'm sure something like this happened.

He seems to have mellowed a little over the years, but I'd love to know his feelings on turning 60.
