Oh I completely agree but I also can’t just discount we’re playing away from home against a team in the top 4. Can still be realistic but hope for the best.

It’s weird. Villa finishing 4th and winning EL gives English football an extra CL place next season. Villa finishing 5th and winning EL doesn’t.

When I calmed down after the play off final last year I was thinking fuuuuuck, next year is going to be brutal.

If a soothsayer predicted in the pre season that we’d do the double over the mags and could possibly go 6th with 5 games left I would have called the men in the white coats.

Villa have players back from injury and have hit good form.
They are rightly favourites to win tomorrow.
Opportunities like this are games we have always seem to stumble in.
But this team is different, hope we give them a good game.
 
I actually cant believe we’re not down already! When we won the play off final i just thought can we avoid being absolutely rock bottom all year! Absolutely unbelievable what’s happened this year

On the flip side of that they have won 1 out of their last six in the league 🤷
