6 Easy Points - Mags vs Sun'Lun Supercut analysis

@10 Trenches Deep I had your playoff videos bookmarked on YouTube, and watched them five times over, as quite frankly you understand and can read a football game about 5 levels deeper than I do, and about 4 levels deeper than the average TV pundit. Top work and thanks for doing this!
Recording these things for posterity and to overcome the lazy mainstream narrative that Lampard and Howe are god's gift and we are lucky.

It's a joy and a priviledge to do so.

You're going to need to set aside 30 minutes of your day for this and probably commandeer the big telly, but when you do...enjoy.

Just how did Sunderland slay the entitled neighbour up the road? Well it wasn't that difficult really. They played with no recognised striker up top, convincingly lost the midfield battle and had no substitutes to dictate any change. This aside, Sunderland had a solid game plan they largely stuck to and aside from gifting Newcastle United a goal inside of 10 minutes, they executed their plan pretty well. A second half performance of perfection sealed what might easily have been a larger score line on another day.

Obviously I can't put it on YouTube, so I can't embed a link here, but you can watch it on either of these links for free.

Is this on YouTube?

Fantastic watch mate 👏 Finally managed to get around to watching it after having it bookmarked for a few days.

But bloody hell I hope England do well in the World Cup. The thought of Howe and Tindall in at England is proper grim. Your breakdown sheds a lot of light on how tactically inept Eddie is.

No, sadly not. Premier League autobots zap it for copyright and it takes months to win the legal battle. Just follow the links in the first post and if you want it on your telly it'll have to be a HDMI cable from one to the other.
Not the only way. You can access and play the video from altending.co.uk (but not from patreon) from the inbuilt browser on your smart tv. I’ve tried it.

What is the barrier to YT posting?

FIFA...I have battled them before and I always win, but it takes a month...and who wants to watch this in a month?

They rely on timing people out of relevance and effort with the length of appeals process.
That's interesting - not the PL?

A bit silly because you are actually 'amplifying' their product and not taking away any views or revenue?

Brands pay good money for influencers.. 🤷

Very good video btw

Sorry, it is the Premier League, I wasn't paying attention and thought you were replying on the International summary post I made.

Yes this is EPL, but it's all done automatically and then appeals automatically shut down by minions who just get told reject everything and fill in the admin. So you have to go all the way to the end of the process and say take me to court if you think this isn't fair use. I always win that, but it's very high stakes and it takes about 4-6 weeks, by which time the video is well out of date. Which entirely suits the Premier League and largely stops anyone from bothering.

Ultimately though they might take me to court. Would they risk it? If they lost the floodgates open across the globe. If they win they sue me for costs and take my house, savings and bankrupt me and they would heavily publicise a victory to deter anyone else.

Anyway, I have thrown another test appeal in for the Villa game 7 months ago that briefly appeared here. Surely they wouldn't want to go to war over that? If I win I clear my only copyright strike and I will consider putting this up for posterity and risking it all again. In the meantime...it's can't be on YouTube although that is clearly rowing against the tide. Proliferation of this sort of material post-game is inevitable in the long run isn't it?

Aha, so an auto copyright strike.
Just a PITA then..as I doubt they'd be arsed to mobilise legally against you, or see you as a trophy win. I'd imagine a class action against every YTuber would make them an enemy of the sport and even then they'd probably just advise cease and desist?

I guess if you wanted to protect yourself you could have a limited company as a firewall.
