Discounting friendlies, we're unbeaten there since a world record crowd watched the very first match at the stadium in 1923

We lost a couple of Charity Shields but they're only friendlies, as well as playing at Cardiff 3 years running when Wembley was being rebuilt
 
Done all 7 too. At least we score in them now, we didn’t in the first 4 of them. I don’t count Mcfails in the ‘88 penalty shoot out.

Think that why Quinnys goal against Charlton was celebrated so mentally as at the time I never thought we would score at Wembley never mind win!
 
Been to the lot....have seen us score 17 goals and lose every fecking game. Don’t want to go back next month.
 
I think us, the mags and boro have clocked up about 18 without a win now.

The mags had a charity shield hammering there off Man Utd that people forget about. And boro had a few cup finals in the late 90s plus a recent play off final.

Sunderland have never lost at Wembley if I was not there. Sunderland have never won at Wembley when I was there.

I also went to support Gateshead and they lost as well so I am 0 in 8 so far.

If you are not a top club, then a wembley appearance is on average a once in a generation feat save the unlikely event you are constantly in the playoffs.
