How is this figure derived, I'm assuming lateral flow tests count or is it just PCR tests and is it over a few days or just within the last 24 hours? That figure is remarkable.

That's still the plan with schools. If you get a positive lateral flow you then have to go for the PCR one to confirm it.

Admissions continue to fall as well which is an even better leading indicator than the numbers in hospital. With these numbers deaths can only go one way in the next 2 weeks, potentially very very significantly down.
