The lack of TLC from the ECB towards this is shocking. Someone may be able to tell me why it had to be this way but why schedule England v Australia on the same day?

Not long ago it was a guaranteed sell out with a real buzz.

Is the answer: because they don’t give a fuck about county cricket??

Would hardly be surprising when you consider they’re downgrading it next year.

I wa glad sky sports cricket choose the one day final as their main event and rightly soo.

Wasn't getting at you mate, just other posters who blame the ECB, for everything from poverty to lack of worldwide peace!

I find it ironic that although they go on about county cricket this and county cricket that, then when the showpiece final is on rather than talk about the actual cricket, use it again to talk about the ECB.

Gutted I never have (because we're shit at white ball stuff) and, unless there is a huge change in the ECB's thinking some time in the future, never will get the chance to see Yorkshire in a Lord's final
