Now that really was f***ing stupid.

Yet another fuck up from the top order, heaping pressure onto the middle. Bairstow won't make a score here (haway lad, dee summat will ye)

Its not a 'fuck up' at all bearing in mind that this is Durham where no team has scored 300 or more first up at all this season. 270 is a par score and 50s and 60s are good scores individually at Durham where you are never really in. At the moment its still in the balance.

It is in the context of the summer where the top order have continually failed to deliver, putting pressure onto the middle and lower order to come up with runs.

We may well finish with a par score or better but that doesn't mean we should ignore the pattern in our batting this summer.
