Have a look at the Houghton Website mate. Make your own mind up, as if you already haven't. Like everyone else our 1st team get drop outs on the day and 2nd teamers are called up on short notice.

Unlike Bill Quay we don't have a huge pool of players, no stewards enquiry required; or even asked for last time, we when he and I got off to a much better start (against weaker bowlers and differing players :roll and the game was called off due to rain with us in a much better position to win the game.

Our team had about 30 first team runs between it through emergency call-ups and that's first team at the very foot of the pyramid. We have dispensations and always pick a team that's in the spirit of the game.

Major dummy spit by their keeper - kicked the stumps over after phils massive 6! Walked off and wouldn't shake anyones hand

All of the BQ lads shook my hand at the end like even though they must have been gutted. Both times we have played them it's been a mint game (lost by 1 wicket last year), hope it's the same when we go to their place.

I agree all the BQ lads were gracious in defeat and it was more down to fustration then anything else. Teams have their problems we also had one last night but all the lads said it was a great game just not a nice way to lose it.
