This tiredness is a poor exscuse anarl....Bresnan, Wright, Tremlett, Morgan, Tredwell etc all barely played in the test series if at all
 
Typical England if Ashes feel good factpor drains away with a heavy series hammering here, especially with world cup next month.

Have to say the schedule does us no favours like, Ashes winter then world cup.
 
Colly should return for ths one at the expense of Yardy.

Anderson has been and Broad and now Swann are missing so we haven't got our three best bowlers. Whatever happens this series will have no bearing on the World Cup.

this is shite. Why is KP not playing? Why is Bell playing he just isn't an ODI player, Trott again keeps hitting the four feilders in the ring, Prior isn't an opener try KP up there we can't change Prior now so are stuck with him and why do we still have players in the team that aren't going to the world cup it just seems pointless.

agree with that you need to spinners and the four bowlers but I think you may need a 6th bowling option so could change Bell for Wright but TBF the team looks pretty good just need to see KP and Trott bowling more. Still lacks firepower though.
 
dog shit cricket from england, look totally uninterested once again. i was going to go to this game but luckily had a family lunch to go to instead, thank fuck...

Woeful. Tremlett's running for the last wicket was pitiful. ATM this doesnt augur well for the World Cup, a tournament that we have performed poorly in recently.

michael slater was summarising for the channel 9 news at the end of the england innings and was all but suggesting england are throwing this game. he just couldn't understand the lack of motivation, crazy decisions (run outs) and shot selection of the england team.

This is nothing new from an England ODI team we have just gone backwards again

the aussies were very critical of their team and were quick to praise england.

i don't think they've gone backwards, i think they've gone home.
