I reckon so. You don't see the one day side falling to bits very often, Morgan has them drilled.

Since Cook retired, and now Anderson is injured. There's no real stand out 'leaders' on the pitch. Root isn't a big enough character to captain this team alone.
 
If you bat first you can put yourselves under pressure. It takes an incredibly poor display to put yourselves in a losing position on day one if you bat first though. It can happen but it’s pretty rare.

If you bowl first you always put yourselves under pressure. It takes an incredible display to put yourselves in a winning position on day one if you bowl first and you frequently put yourselves in a bad position if you don’t.

It’s nearly always a ridiculous decision only ever vindicated by ridiculously good bowling, and yes Archer is dangerous but fuck me the idea that this side backed themselves to deliver a bowling display for the ages on the back of their current form says a lot about their maturity
