First goal came completely against the run of play and then we disintegrated.

Mind you I’m sick of us not shooting first time. Players constantly taking unnecessary touches to try and get the ball on their stronger foot etc… by the time they have they’ve been closed down.

We’ve rolled over for them. I genuinely believe that. I feared we would do the same against spurs.

Could not believe how much space we give them on our own box. Too many players went missing tonight
 
really poor defending again just like last game. Disappointing when we had more possession and more shots. They had 6 shots on target and scored 5. I have been going since 1970 and its the heaviest home defeat I have seen
 
Poor basic defending plus howlers equals 5-0,
We give them so much room in our box due to people being asleep. Two eyes lets you see where the ball and your opponent are.
Unfortunately our daydreaming and their slices of luck were our downfall

VAR call was unlucky though, aye.
 
Genuinely think we were unlucky today. Wasteful at the start, the ball just didn’t bounce for us, sloppy at the back, couple easy goals, heads dropped and they punished us.

Villa result was strangely harder to take for me.

Diarra absent again, he needs time to develop IMO.

They were much better than Spurs and West Ham.
