Can't see the point of that. OK it's just a practise match but surely to have any value you have to make it competitive.

Your right. Pretty low in competitive qualities but good to get batsmen some match practice

Lads have been in isolation for about 10-14 days, this will merely give them match practice and for some a bit of game time before we play Warwickshire in the county championship

Of course it was just practise but why not make it more realistic of a match situation.? And there's only Jones and Rushy likely to be involved v Warwickshire. Even a NEPL run out would be more realistic.
