2nd hand camera stuff

Anyone know how any decent places online to get quality used camera equipment?

Looking for a Leica Summicron 50mm (M mount), but my usual reliables of Rocky and mwclassic.com have nowt suitable.

Tried all the ones I've found on Google (Ffordes, Aperture, Camera Exchanges etc.) - anyone know of any hidden gems?

Red dot cameras in London are Leica specialists but you aren't going to get the same sort of prices as Rocky.

Trying to find a battered example - 1960s and 1960s examples seem to be going for about £300 or thereabouts on eBay.

Red Dot seem quality, but seem to stock mint stuff that's out of my price range.

Brand new yes, but I bought a Canada one for £200 on ebay. It's a quality portrait lens, but manual focus is a drag when you're trying to use it with kids at f2. It rocks when I occasionally get one in focus.

Is it 26% now - getting expensive to purchase stuff from abroad now, does that apply from zero or from a 'duty free' limit used to be 150 quid IIRC.

Same deal here anarl. Sometimes sellers will mark it as a gift, which gets around it. Means you're buggered insurance wise like.

When I bought stuff from KEH I got it shipped to a work colleague in the US who then brought it across with him on his next business trip to China. Smuggling I guess but it saved me a bunch of cash.
