Incredible incredible vaccination figures once again. Fantastic job from everyone involved
They are, we really have pulled out the stops on this. Where are the resident naysayers and gloom merchants today, gone away for the bank holiday weekend perhaps?
Didn't I read that the average age for new cases was 29 and also 3 quarters of those needing admission to hospital have t been vaccinated
Doctor on the radio yesterday stated that only a handful of those in hospital had been fully vaccinated and all of these had only recently had their second dose.

Agreed.

Cases are 800 down on yesterday, though it does push the average up.

Deaths lower than the previous 4 days, the average remains stable at 8.

Number in hospital has dropped to the lowest this year.
That’s what the scare mongering Papers such as the daily fail & sun have the headlines

average cases up but actually down on 24 hrs & people still believe their shit

Hope you’re including joe public in that, very encouraging that over 50% of over 30s have rolled up their sleeves in last 2 weeks
People said the under 50s would never have it, because the risk to them was low, and those in their 40s lined up.
Then people said uptake in the under 40s would be low, because the risk to them was low, and now those in their 30s are lining up. Long may it continue.
