I think the only player I've heard say he values ODI's/T20 over test cricket is Chris Gayle, and even then I'm not sure if it was his opinion or just the way he saw the game going. It's pleasing to hear how many cricketers still see test cricket as the pinnacle. It only seems to be the West Indies who are having trouble with the players turning them down to play T20 but that seems to be as much a symptom of the shambolic way their board acts.
I know there are a few players who've said they are quitting tests to focus on T20 but that seems to be players who are past their best/prone to injuries and want to sort their futures out rather than players in their prime.
I remember Virat Kohli being interviewed whilst playing in the IPL and he was ecstatic about having been named in the test squad
Good luck to Pollard, can't blame him for doing it the way he is, I'm sure most of us would do the same.
