As it stands, only 5 clubs have total stadium capacity bigger than our ST sales.
21,100 - Portsmouth*
23,009 - Barnsley
25,136 - Bradford
27,111 - Charlton
32,609 - Coventry.

*Although we've been reliably informed on here that Portsmouth sell out every match (despite rarely getting over 18,000 last season) and have 25,000 waiting in reserve each game (despite rarely getting over 18,000 last season). Sorry to disappoint everyone, lads.

And I am absolutely confident we will get bigger crowds than all of them.

Think this confirms we will already have the highest attendances

Why this is masterclass PR

1) Fans confidence and enthusiasm in the club restored
2) The sheer talk of these numbers automatically enhances our transfer appeal to players at this level
3) The boost in morale, combined with the turnover in ownership and management, creates a clean slate which kills the negative attitude which brought us down two divisions.
4) The team itself is boosted by confidence from the club's support

We're in an exceptional position now to be making good signings and begin an immediate promotion push. There is no legitimate reason why we should not be challenging for the league, none. The resources, the leadership, the spirit and momentum are all there.

Portsmouth....best supported club in the land.
Iirc.

I just hope the optimism off-field transfers onto the pitch. If we make a good start, with the new people within the club and the amazing support we should get promotion straight away this season I think.

Then give the Championship a right good go for 2/3 years.

Just looking at the Championship. Our sales also exceed:

Brentford (12,300), QPR (18,439) and Rotherham (12,021) and we're not a much more than a gnat's ballhair away from Millwall (20,146) and Swansea (21,088).
