Speaking without black and white glasses on and accepting the glaringly obvious helps.

Like I said, you’re in the minority of ‘normal mags’ on this forum.

Thanks for that.. i think. Would also like this if i could but still no button.

I always chuckle at certain mag posters who say we are bitter and full of hatred and then read their posts full of bitterness and hatred.

A lot of my mates are Sunderland fans, i played football for years in the Crook and disrtricy league and one of my closest mates is Dave Hunns who works for SAFC, i have to go to the SOL for different reasons because of my job so have lots of Banter with people there, i was there last Friday giving away £1,500 Hays travel vouchers to a lad from Whitburn who won them on our radio station, who hugged me after winning them then called me a Mag twat, all fun and games.

It was quoted at 18,170 yesterday but demand still appears to be high so I think it will get there. We should expect spikes on weekends and then a last minute surge before the DD deadline comes down on June 22nd.

As a whole I think we will pass 20,000. A good summer in the transfer window and enthusiasm will take more people off the fence.

Agree, loads more on a weekend - a few signings before the 22nd will help and also if Rodwell is captured and sacked this will boost the numbers massively.

for me relegation battle, even though we finished tenth, it was a relegation battle all season, at Christmas i thought we were gone. As i keep saying, we are always one move away from a crisis.Just watch when Rafa leaves as inevitably will happen some day.
I'm not talking specifically about Newcastle, but there are a lot of clubs walking a fine line financially in order to stay in, or get into the Premier league. Our debt that we had, showed that and could finish some clubs. Signing players for big money on big wages that you can't get rid of. I think a lot of clubs have this and it could be extremely damaging.
Villa are an example example of this, us and many others In sure.

You are right and no matter what, every season there will be 3 clubs going down no matter who they sign, who thay appoint as manager or what they do, it's only a matter of time for some clubs. Then again isn't there 4 clubs relegated in league 1?

I don't know. All that money in the top flight then into the Championship and you either gamble, like you did, and buy to get out, or you sell to cut your overheads, if you can.

Have to say for the first time in years I cant wait for the new season to start. While relegation is always painful Im not sure a single person I have met either SAFC or Mags has said that they missed the Premiership. Most of my Mag mates (sorry) said that their Championship win was most they had enjoyed watching them in years. Ours obviously different as we were even worse in the Championship than the Prem.

Hate that feeling of going into a new season knowing you will get the same old shit as you get battered most weeks then hopefully grind out enough draws and the odd win to stay up. The Premier league is just a borefest now imho. Same teams competing in the top 7 year in year out with the rest just making up the numbers and desperately hoping they are not one of the 3 to go down.....FFS the last time a team bucked the trend and broke into the closed shop that is the top 4 they made a bloody Hollywood movie out of it.

Top and bottom is fans want to see their team competing and winning, hopefully playing great football in a stadium that is absolutely bouncing. How often does any team outside the top 7 get that in the Premier league....The money in the Prem is killing English football imho.
Half agree about premier money, I think champions league money is the real problem.

Sky money, that everyone thought would make the premier league better, has actually made the Premier league like the Scottish league where everyone knows which teams are going to dominate and the rest are just there for the money and to make up the numbers, i never ever thought this would happen, back in the day nearly every club had at least a chance of a cup run.

Fair point too. On top of that wrecked the national sides hopes (I know) as very few players getting much top flight experience and too many young English players taking massive salaries to sit on the benches of top 6 clubs.

Aye, now the bottom 13 in the Prem are getting beat in the cups by the reserves from the top clubs, its utter chod.

If there's gonna be some kind of Mackem Hunger Games to hunt and kill Rodwell, I'll put in £50 to enter that game! Release him into the wild, and we can track him down!

Give over, just head for the Metro centre, little fuckbag will rock up sooner or later (probs sooner)

DD deadline is the 8th, is it not?

Was down there this morning and there was only another couple of blokes about, maybe just because it was early though.

During our last ten year stint, I think I only enjoyed it when we won the games near the end. It's soul destroying seeing your team get beat as often as we did. Outside the top say, six, everybody else is an also ran. Leicester were a breath of fresh air but normal service has resumed.

Until someone explains why not, I'm going to keep posting this.

Rodwell's training drink
Some PEDs
A Tip Off

Sorted.
