Actually I take it back. The lowest I remember in the league was the 8003 v Plymouth. My dad used to tell me some story about a game we played in an afternoon because of a power cut where there was 6000 there but I can find any evidence of it.

So thats to the victors the spoils. Except its not as simple as that. Pre Emirate prehistoric owners Man City made very much a big deal of their crowds as they slipped further and further from the games highest levels.
