There were some games in the premiership where Portsmouth had to pay £47 for home tickets. Plus facilities and shocking. If Portsmouth and Sunderland had the same facilities and prices and both battling promotion, Portsmouth would average more. Fact.

Or why can’t Portsmouth upgrade their facilities to match a bigger club such as Sunderland? ;)

You aren’t even as big as Southampton

If you really want to do this Billy:

(Pompey)
(SAFC)

Several seasons there with an average below 10K
Most fans in the country l. Biggest club outside of the premier league. Billy is full of shite

These are all facts

If you think Sunderland are bigger than Pompey you are mistaken. Pompey are still the big fish in league 1 next season.

Just to back up Billy's point, it is actually a fact that Portsmouth have, in their whole history, never had a higher average attendance than sunderland.

I like Sunderland, they have good support. But the potential at Sunderland will only get them so far up the ladder. The potential at Portsmouth and the potential crowds dwarfs that of any club outside the premiership and a lot in it. The problem is the stadium and the city is an Island so relocating makes it difficult.

Fair enough, find me a mention of 34k applications for season tickets or individual game tickets from Portsmouth fans, journos or the club itself.

I'm not arguing, Sunderland is a great old club and will do well next season. Well done to the fans who renewed, great effort so far.

I believe in Billy, it's not as if he's ever told lies before.

Remember him on here last season, telling anyone who would listen, that Pompey had sold 9,000 tickets for MK dons.
Turns out that they took 6,000.
He's full of shit man.

Billy we just want answers

How does the potential of Portsmouth, a club who have won far less than Sunderland dwarf their potential?

How are portsmouth the buggest club outside of the prem?

I cant see us getting to 20k however if we can win some games maybe by christmas we could pick up a lot of part season tickets

You don't know what you are talking about Billy boy. The most famous thing about Portsmouth was that annoying bell ringing bloke who used to embarass himself when you were in the prem.

Is still ringing the Pompey chimes at the match?

Agreed. If it wasn't for the size of the stadium and size and geography of the city itself Portsmouth would be massive.
