2-3 yrs time?...

...could we be exactly in the position Villa are as a club and have the squad depth they have? I think that was the biggest factor yesterday, their depth and their options off the bench. We went toe to toe with them and nearly came out on top...just that extra bit of quality in the attacking third needed for the first 11 and depth in the squad. We have come a very long way in a very short space of time. Immensely proud of the club and the players what they have achieved so far this season...it could get even better in these last 5 games 🤞onwards and upwards!

This summer is huge for us. We will undoubtedly loss at least 1 key player so how we use that money will be huge.

No reason why we can't be where Bournemouth/Brighton have been for the last few years. Regular top half finishes with occasional go in europe. I'm not sure it's realistic to be looking to Villa's level just yet. They've been in europa league/champions league for the last 3/4 years haven't they?

I think we could be where Villa are in 2-3 yrs time mate. Like you say, this summer is going to show us what our model is and how we are going to approach it. With the 12-13 good first team players we have now, we are matching these top half teams. We aren't that far off....just that bit extra quality needed attacking wise and options off the bench and extra quality to keep the first 11 on their toes.

It’s a nice thought and not impossible. This is the type of club we should aspire to.
We are different to the likes of Brighton, Brentford etc because imo we have a higher ceiling

Villa still have an issue with squad depth as well mate. As soon as McGinn gone off they had zero control in midfield.

Nah, Villa are a bigger club than us in the nashuns second biggest city, can't see us getting anywhere near their revenue in 2-3 year and they're also in a bit of financial bother.
