it looks bad but to be fair all the new lads have shown ability at this level. as you say our top bowlers lookd knackered. we have to win the first

I'm not one for betting can't say I've ever put more than 20 quid on in bets in my life but I can't see anything but an india series win.i shake above a fiver.
I won't end up putting it on but I don't like how confident I am when England were the best test side in the world not that long ago.

Hopefully not. Think Stokes will play and with Trent Bridge not exactly being spinner friendly, I can see Ali being the fall guy.
He should be nowhere near the England squad mate. He's not good enough.

i agree. he does not have pace or the batting imo. he has bulked up a bit but he is cannon fodder to class batsmen in odis, so tests are way above his level.

Exactly. Every ball he bowls is like a tennis ball just sitting up waiting to be hit. Even Saj was more suited to test cricket.

You'd hope not mate, every ground should prepare a wicket to suit pace/seam/bounce and for no turn whatsoever. India's seamers have done fuckall in the warm-up games.
