We're doing so much better than before. Gutted its going to aboslute shit everywhere else seemingly.
Our worry now is keeping this supposed new strain out. Hopefully we get through the next couple of weeks without appearing.

i'm sure others as well as myself appreciate these daily threads. as sad as they are.

Pretty incredible we started this as the highest case rate in the UK and now on course to drop to a third of national average.

I wonder if our relative geographic isolation in the NE is starting to play a part.
 
just looked back at my sun-sat stats for the week just ending

deaths average - 435.5. previous weeks 432.5, 426.5
cases average - 24751 (note 11000 added from wales for one day). previous weeks 17855, 14400
 
Looking at those case figures I’m edging towards closing everything until April and vaccinating 24 hours a day.

This has turned into a nightmare.
