This talk of protests is commendable but far,far too late imo. I've stood outside calling for the heads of the directors, managers and players at Roker Park, on more than one occasion, so I think I'm well qualified to speak on this matter.
Just have a look around you at the match and see the despair and the despondency in peoples of faces those that care dearly for our club..They are shot to pieces after years of the tripe we have been served up with.. The sitting down of supporters of the club has nullified what used to be the most passionate supporters found anywhere in this land. However, over these past five or six years any resistance to making or voicing their feelings to the hierarchy of the club have been beaten into submission, season upon season where by now all they do is sit and take the dross week ,upon week.
The only way, only way, to make people in the Club sit up and listen including the media too, is to not attend games.....now with attendance dropping and will continue to drop should things remain as they are presently doing, Shorts investment is looking sicker as each week without change goes by.
I posted before this is the loudest way supporters of our once great Club will be able get the hierarchy to take note will take notice.
An empty Stadium of Light on a match day will shout out the loudest.
