They want to prove to themselves that they are right and we are wrong.
Only ones standing up and fighting against the system mate. Heroes one and all,

I look forward to the inevitable twisting in a few years time when we are heading in the right direction and the renewers are getting better season ticket deals than the coming backers.

We deserve a new owner with long arms and deep pockets.

Everything about our club is there...the stadium (with a tidy), the AOL, Beacon of Light and an untapped fanbase.

If we can only get the football right.

That will only happen with new owners

If you stop watching just because the team is a division below then doesn't it make you a bit of a glory supporter?

It isn't like the owner has suddenly increased ticket prices and is pricing people out. The only difference is going to be the league we're in.

I hope that's not the only difference, we have only won a handful of games in the last two seasons. That needs to change.

The biggest gobshites (on all sides) always seem to be that side of the fence strangely.

A lot of them do it to justify their non attendance mate. There is always something wrong, or a bullshit x-factor style backstory, which stops them from going.

I know lads who can’t go to the match because Saturday is “family time”. Now, I have no problem with that - if it was true. In reality however, they disappear at 2pm to a living room/bedroom with a laptop (and some beers occasionally) and watch a shaky stream of a match. They then reappear at 5.15pm to make tea.

There will be posters on here (both us and mags) who haven’t been for years.

Surely the point stands if he has ambition, and it's quite clearly he hasn't .
Ok. IF HE GOT AMBITION AGAIN do you think the stay aways would come back?

I'll be back when Bob Murray leaves.......

Exactly mate. Short has given the non attendees the perfect excuse and they spin it to suit their agenda.

Mind, I love a good backstory......

“In the 1980’s, I loved the club so much, I’d swim down the River Wear to get to Roker Park, to ensure I missed traffic jams. My love was such, that I once attended eight consecutive home games in 1983!!! Short, just like Murray before, has killed my love for the club and I now will not return until he has gone”
