Not sure why he made the statement unless whatever negotiations he was involved in have gone wrong since Friday, however by putting it out he’s now boxed himself into a corner. Every day that passes the word imminent will, quite rightly, be used against him.
All this makes me think we’re going to knee jerk into Rosenior. A steady but unambitious appointment. Especially considering we’ve had four months to ‘plan’ and against the club’s narrative of an obsession with progression.
