On this forum that's true, but I think on matchdays they will get support and a little bit of patience.

I think a lot of people (not me) think the squad is shit, which might help them if it's perceived they haven't been "backed" with transfers.

Fair enough. But I'd say over half over our first team squad wouldn't even get a second glance from most Championship sides.

I don't think the idea is to buy players not good enough. It's to buy talented players and develop them, the jury is still out for about 90% of them, there is loads of time.

Personally I think it's exactly the right idea, albeit they have got it wrong this last season.

But say the Burstow loan worked out and he was an Archer, Cannon, Stansfield type PL loan. We could have developed Hemir, Mayenda steadily with less pressure on them. Rusyn would have been judged differently in our eyes if we weren't so desperate for a first choice forward.

I think you’re being generous. Rusyn was reportedly our sixth choice target. If we’re to kick on we can’t bring in people on loan or permanent and pray for them to come good…there has to be some known quantities
