Imminent = today and I cannot see this happening before this time next week

Can you honestly blame anyone man?

Hull, Plymouth, Birmingham, Norwich (I know for a fact I’m missing some - these are off the top of my head) have all went out and got their man in already.

We have had MONTHS longer than every single one of those clubs - yet here you are surprised that BTEC Avicii’s few paragraphs of utter drivel haven’t appeased us.

I’d be surprised if an “imminent” appointment wasn’t someone we’re at least aware has been interviewed/linked. Even Beale was leaked a few days or so before he was announced.

I'm shocked you believe the "imminent" part. I'm happy clapper as owt by comparison and I think this statement means we're probably at least a week away.

Its the timing of it thats weird though. Its the sort of statement you put out 3 weeks ago not if youre about to announce something.

If you have someone lined up why say it's imminent, for him to come out and say that he must be sure it's going to happen, just announce them

We haven’t had months longer. We made it clear when sacking Beale there’d be nobody until after the season finished

Don’t know what’s wrong with it. Says they fucked up last season and have learned from it. Also that a new coach will be announced soon.
That’s what we all wanted to hear, surely?
