if pascal was the "imminent" incoming head coach then something went wrong in negotiations. maybe we'll find out one day. Leo has been available for several weeks and don't understand why people are against him. what does seem to be causing us trouble is the policy that Dodds now has to be involved with the main squad and we seem determined to develop him as a future head coach.

I think Dodds is highly thought of, but only by our club. I'm sure he's the consumate proffessional and all that and no doubt does long hours and lots of prep. He's gone from being the players 'mate' to being their boss and they've let him down by his own words several times. The interviews are galling in the extreme, he's not comfortable at all and I don't blame him.

But he's not the the main reason a lot of us are disgusted with the current ownership. TM's team were so successful that every team 'parked the bus' for 3 months. The ones that didn't got beat, better teams on paper. Then he publicly commented about the recruitment side of things and they let him go, the utter gunts. Replcaed him with Beale....Now WHO thought that was a good idea?

Then they sacked him! Unbelievable Jeff! And just when we all thought it couldn't get any worse....They fucked the season off, gave it to doddsy as a "free hit" no pressure and he nearly got us relegated, 6 points in it wasn't there?

So the club have been a joke since TM was sacked, basically.

I can only assume their opinion is Dodds as a coach will he here longer than any Head Coach for continuity but even that is absolutely mental.

Since when did the SAFC 1st team become an apprenticeship for ‘developing’ coaches? It’s a disgrace that we’re using our football club to develop Doddsy, above all else. Let him develop anywhere but our first team, ideally anywhere but SAFC.

Around the same time the club became a player farm I'd imagine.
