0 deaths or hospital admissions in Sunderland 😎

Looking at these numbers against 5 weeks ago, 8 May, we have; close to 4 times the amount of cases (2047 to 7738), 7 more deaths (12 to 5), a few more in hospital (1152 to 1089) and almost the same on ventilation (158 to 163). This shows the vaccine is working as we have vaccinated over 18m in that time. Considering the rise in cases the rest of the numbers look good.

If, as some think, the government pause the road map then it will be to allow more vaccinations.

Not sure what point you are trying to make, not wanting to start an argument just interested in what you think.
Just in regard to trying to draw any inferences about cases translating into hospitalisation. The cases started to rise very slowly but really began to take off in the last 10 days, therefore the extent of rise in hospitalisations won't become apparent until the next week or so. If its still low after a week or two then things are looking really good.

It's not though

Youre the man who was washing his shopping man what changed? We all know it's drink but thought I'd ask
Thay was last March/April when a novel virus entered the cycle. As I remember I played the tenth man card shortly after and then it all inravelled over time.

Does anyone have a comparison day when we had similar positive tests previously to see what number of deaths they were around that time to give a comparison pre-vaccine and post vaccine?

I think it's posted earlier in the thread. But it does not matter now we are in summeryou can't do these comparisons.
Cases in Sunderland on the high side, relatively speaking, for around 12 days now but still a big fat 0 next to admissions.
Ass 100% expected..

Ah still in your it’s a seasonal virus mode? That’s why we’ve had it in spring, summer, autumn and winter

it’s definitely seasonal, it’s around for everyone of them

When did we have it in summer? I mean show me the stats for a country of 68 million, it was in the teams of not even registering and it will happen again this summer. Use your noggin.
