Well, they've won 5 and drawn 2 of their last 7 games so are the most in-form team in the league and at this stage, their season is very much alive. Should it get rearranged for say mid April, they may well still be in playoff contention, but there's also a very good chance that their season will be effectively over and I'd rather play them when there is a chance that that may be the case rather than now when they are shit hot.

In terms of our own 'momentum', it's not as if we pushed on the last time we got a last minute 3-3 draw against a play off chasing team. We're currently available at 5/1 for the win and that wouldn't be the case later in the season if universally accepted that the game was more important to us than them.

Can't remember the last away match I went to. I'm just glad it's this week and not next or I'd have been sacking Villa off :)
We’ll get your arse to Millwall instead of hoping it’s called of ya selfish bugger. Limited tickets left ;)

It will be fine come Saturday I reckon. Friday looks like it might be bad though. Surprised by how much snow we've had in Central London though and how much has stuck.
Stuck? It’s doesnt stick man, it lies:cool:

The snow will be heavy apparently in London on Friday but not snowing on Saturday. Just depends on the temperature and also the conditions outside the ground I suppose

Whatever happens we'll probably need a result from this game ..... if it's called off, and others aren't, the table could look terrible.

I'd rather take my chances and go there looking for 3 points.

I'm on an early train, so hope they don't panic Friday and cancel the early ones.

Makes no difference I reckon. We’ve played teams who couldn’t buy a goal or win and they’ve come up against us and scored 3 or broke their bad run picking up a comfortable win. Likewise we’ve gone to teams on a run like Wolves and came away with a point with 10 men. If results go against us this weekend and we are to not playing at all, we could be absolutely miles behind and psychologically that could be devastating for some of our weak minded players. Even those not weak minded, it’s a big ask when you look at the table and see how far behind you are.

In terms of ourselves, see above. We’re diabolical and have been all season so I really don’t think it makes any odds on when we play someone. What will be will be so we might as well get it played now and when other teams around us are playing.

Early ones are a pain in winter, to get to home Satda games I have to book from KX & risk the only train I can get from here (05.15) actually runs. Website says it might not if snow, leaves or cold ffs :(
Later ones easy, a colleague went to London today on the 10.30 & was worried cos of 2hr delays, I telt him no problem, just catch the 8.30 at 10.30 :)

Yeah, some fair points there by you and @Reiver and you're probably right. Being called off might not be the answer, but as a general rule, I would have preferred to play your Norwich's, Millwall's and Ipswich's later on, but as you say, it may not have made much difference anyway.

By the sounds of it the problem they had today was everyone jumping on early ones to avoid delays. That meant they took of the day time ones as they had no passengers.

Whilst I would prefer it to go ahead from a personal point of view you are spot on.

If they do postpone it - hopefully it's early on. Bollocks to getting three quarters of the way into Leicester or someone and then have to come back.
