007 First Light


picked this up today from Argos for £48 - well worth it, it’s absolutely class :cool:
Just done the night club at the start, think things are about to kick off.
Really well done, it’s like a proper James Bond film
 
Never played a hitman game, but Uncharted 4 is one of my absolute favourites and this looks similar.

I am selling some bit and pieces at the moment and I am seriously tempted to spend some on this!

I only played the first Hitman for about an hour when it was on PS Plus years ago but didn't have a clue what I was doing. Playing this and loving it so far I'm going to give it another go. The World of Assassination version of it is on sale atm. Uncharted is one of my fav series and did enjoy Watch Dogs Legion so know where you're coming from.

I’m the same with hitman. I tried it a few times and it just didn’t click with me. I really want to get into it as it looks amazing. Dunno what it is with it

Maybe it's the slow pace throughout, whereas with Bond you've got set pieces and action at good intervals.
 
Just finished the mission with the warlord in Alepho.

Decent game only let downs are the loading times when dying and the fighting as one slight move and its as of you are running from the fight. Needs to lock on if fighting as when i fought the twins I was all owa the shop haha.

Great game so far but the bond’s charm starting to piss me off. 🤣

Theres plenty to do on it. The VR training sessions are good too. Not sure if the story changes depending on your reply options during conversations.

Finished it tonight, story is absolutely great, hits a lot of contemporary notes. Gameplay could be a little smoother for hand to hand combat but it's my only gripe. Looking forward to diving into Tacsim when I get the time too.
