Massive chance for Brook then batting in his actual position.

Stokes won't play every game at world cup and Roy is concerningly still injured. With the amount of travel that will be involved his back won't enjoy that.

So Brook as the backup may be a better option and Roy misses out instead. Albeit you'd imagine one will still be a travelling reserve either way.

Indeed he does. As you say feels like a slow 50 will be a great thing for him here.

Just this series he's looked the worst i've seen him. Timing all over the shop when normally even in difficult periods for him score wise, he still looks good at the crease.
