Is it correct he's the highest paid player at the club (excluding loanees)?
He lost me at the scarf pic when he had an amusement park souvenir ring on every finger and thumb. There’s a time and place for everything but that was a poor decision. If he’d have proved me wrong I’d be wearing shitty jewelry atm.
I think the club just needs to commit to playing people like Poveda for several games to actually give them a proper opportunity. They obviously think Roberts is the better player, however being given 10-20 minutes here and there isn't really sufficient for a player to get going.

The thing is though, if you sign a player you surely do so thinking they can contribute. Sometimes it's a case of letting them sink or swim. Would love to see Poveda get a fair crack of the whip, he's clearly got something, you can tell judging by his control and the way he moves there's a player there.
He's been unfortunate with injuries, but we knew this was a potential risk when he signed as his injury record wasn't the best. I say give him a chance.
I am not saying he is, but even if he's taking the piss with attitude and discipline etc? (Something that has been a problem with him elsewhere).

RlB has praised Mayenda’s attitude, and desire to learn. it sounds like he’s been a model pro with a great team ethic from his interviews too. He’s not made a fuss about being played ‘out of position’ wide.
Eli earned his start. it doesn’t sound like Poveda has. Rewarding bad behaviour isn’t good for the squad as a whole.
Would be my thoughts too (if he hasn't been showing the right behaviours).
Has Poveda done something wrong or is that a presumption?
