‘Glasgow Rangers’.

The beauty of the old firm is there’s so many games each season and the bragging rights don’t last long. Rangers may end up getting the biggest laugh of the season come the end of May. But for Celtic to go to Ibrox twice and come away unscathed is impressive given how their season has gone. Think Rohl in the long run will do really well at Rangers.

Mocking the dead is vile like, regardless of how much you hate your rivals

A couple of lads in my team are Celtic fans and they are genuinely embarrassed by what happened today.

They were both at Ibrox and reckoned the atmosphere was toxic from the start. Loads of horrible stuff about the ibrox disaster and all the old tunes were out in force.

At one stage they reckoned people at the front of the stand were being crushed by the bellends that ran on the pitch, only to run back when idiots from Rangers ran to confront them

They reckon the authorities will chuck the book at them next week and it’s almost certain that away fans will be banned going forward.

Horrible fans Celtic like. Pretty stupid of them to go on like they did when bigger allocations have barely been a thing in these games for years. Back to soulless no away fans derbies now.
Just Celtic fans horrible?

"Just seen a horrible video ,Celtic fan getting attacked near his bus getting his head stamped on while on the floor . People replying saying he has died"

Both are absolute arseholes tbh.

The way they both go on when visiting other clubs is just appalling.

Let’s be honest, our friendly with Celtic was just a disgrace. They were absolute scum from start to finish. We left on 75mins and I’ve never seen so many pissed arseholes stumbling around like zombies.

Not intending to, in any way, excuse the hideous posturing from either set of fans but is there anything more pointless than football stewards with zero authority?

Both sets of fans were cutting through the stewarding with ease. From that point onwards it was going to escalate, and I presume it was only the appearance of the coppers that had them then scuttling back into the stands.

Just read the report on the BBC Sport page. Lots of could have, nearly did, might have but actually nothing happened.

I was at the Euro final in 21’ and the stewards were utterly terrified. At one stage, they actually went onto the concourse to hide. They were desperate for the police to get in the ground to help.

I honestly don’t know how people didn’t die that day. It was a total and utter shambles

What was so bad inside the ground like? Overcrowding?

I was at Ibrox today, my second away game this week after our game at Leeds. None of the above is true :D

I've never known anything like that night

Hopefully lessons learned for 2028

Loads got in without tickets mate. The young steward near us was pretty much in tears trying to deal with the farce that was going on around him.

In all the years I’ve gone to football, it’s probably the only time I’ve seen the security completely fail. If the match wasn’t so high profile, it would have been called off 2hrs before kick off.

It’s scary to think that in the official report it stated there was 6000 people outside Wembley waiting to rush the gates had we won
