It's nothing like any of them geographically or financially. They have much more in common with smaller countries like Sweden, Austria, and Portugal.
Scottish games are well attended per capita, and Old Firm apart, clubs with strong links in their communities.
I go to a couple Morton games a year with in-laws, it's basic stuff but entertaining.
I'm up in Nairn on holiday and went to see a Highland League game yesterday, A great day out, only around 400 at the match. Didn't hear anyone worrying about League One.
